Lantern Point Management is a family business. The families who own the houses in the Fairfield Beach neighborhood are the same people who manage them, and there is no outside management company between you and them. When you call, text, or send a maintenance request, it reaches someone who works directly for the owners, and every lease is read and approved by an owner before it goes out.
Where does the name come from?
Lantern Point is the point of land at the far end of Fairfield Beach Road, where the road runs out and the Sound opens up. It is the neighborhood most of our houses sit in, and the family lives in town. We named the company after the place because the place is the point. If you have not been down here yet, our guide to the Fairfield Beach neighborhood is the tour.
Who owns the houses?
The houses are owned by the Ciambriello and Foote families through Lantern Point Capital, and we live in Fairfield. They are on Fairfield Beach Road, Reef Road and Reef Court, Rowland Road, College Place, Welch Terrace, and Veres Street, almost all of them a short walk from the water.
Who runs what?
- Nick Foote runs Lantern Point Management. He took over the day-to-day in September 2026: leasing, the houses, the team, and the standards every house is held to.
- Charry, our tenant coordinator, handles applications, info calls, and leases from your first inquiry to your signature, and she is the day-to-day contact for current tenants and their parents. She is who calls you back after you apply.
- Carla Foote runs summer leasing across the portfolio, for the months between one school year's group and the next.
- Gaetano Ciambriello runs acquisitions and finance for Lantern Point Capital, the family company that owns the houses.
Maintenance requests go through the portal with a photo and land with our team directly. Before you sign, one number reaches all of us: (203) 418-7800.
Why manage the houses yourselves?
Because we are neighbors before we are landlords. The people who live on these streets year-round are our neighbors too, and a house that is looked after, with the bins back from the curb and the music down at a reasonable hour, is good for the tenants in it and for the block around it. An outside company has a portfolio. We have a neighborhood.
It also means the answers you get are real. Nobody has to check with the owner about whether a repair is approved or whether a group of five fits a house, because the owners are the ones answering. For a stretch, some of our houses were run day to day by an outside management company. That ended, and everything now runs through our own team and our own software.
What does a Lantern Point house come with?
Every house is furnished, with WiFi and a washer and dryer already in it, and every house has keyless entry, so there are no keys to pick up. Every tenant and every guarantor gets a login to the same portal for the lease, the rent schedule, house information, and maintenance. The leasing post walks through the sequence from application to move-in, and the maintenance post covers what happens when something breaks.
